<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a branch part, and to facilitate the assembling work of the branch part in the plant and the disassembling and assembling works in the separation and reconnection of the trunk at the site. SOLUTION: Trunk compressing terminals 10 and 11 are compressed and fixed to trunk cables 1 on both sides of a branch, respectively. Thus, one pair of the trunk compressing terminals 10 and 11 has the step-difference shapes in the reverse directions so as to be coupled each other. The opposing contact surfaces 10a and 11a are in direct contact under the mutually coupled state. Both trunk compressing terminals 10 and 11 are tightened and fixed with bolts 14. A male screw 15b at the tip of a tulip contact 15 passed through a hole 10c formed in the trunk compressing terminal 10 is screwed into a screw hole 11c provided in the trunk compressing terminal and connected and fixed. The pin contact on the side of a branch cable is inserted into the tulip contact 15. A branch unit, which is arranged between the trunk compressing terminals as a central part required before, is not required and the structure is simplified.</p> |
