PURPOSE: A multistage sludge drying apparatus using microwave is provided, which is characterized in that microwave is well dispersed for maximizing contact area and time. Therefore drying efficiency of sludge is improved. Odor and dust generated from drying process are removed efficiently by deodorizing equipment and dust collecting equipment. CONSTITUTION: The shown apparatus is characterized by the following parts: a drying body; several conveyers for transporting sludge to the lower part of the drying body; a dried sludge discharging port(12) equipped with a dried matter discharging conveyer(17); a ventilating port(13) for discharging generated gas; a micro-wave generator(14) equipped with a micro-wave guide(14-1) introducing micro-wave into the interior of the drying body; and a fan(15) for diffusing micro-wave equally into the interior of the drying body. Gas discharged from the ventilating port(13) is passed through a ceramic filter, deodorizing equipment, and dust collecting equipment, and discharged into air. Interior wall of the drying body is metal for maximizing reflection efficiency of micro-wave.
