biotechnology, microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel strain of fungus Aspergillus niger VKPM F-790. On depending of conditions the strain produces citric acid or its salts and gluconic acid (as its salts or gluconolactones). The strain VKPM F-790 ensures to rearrange manufactures using fungus Aspergillus niger for biosynthesis from production of monoproduct to production of some products. The novel strain shows the enhanced stability in acid media. EFFECT: improved economy efficiency, simplified production of gluconic acid. 1 tbl
