PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to produce a liquid crystal display having a screen with uniform brightness. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a substrate(100), a data driver, a gate driver, the first and second gate control signal units, and a signal line. A plurality of gate lines(13) and data lines(12,14) are formed on the substrate, intersecting each other to define a plurality of pixel regions. A device including a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode is formed at each pixel region. The data driver has N data driving circuits(211,221) that apply a data signal to the data lines. The gate driver has M gate driving circuits(311,321,331) that apply a gate signal to the gate lines. The first gate control signal unit applies the first gate control signal to the M gate driving circuits. The second gate control signal unit applies the second gate control signal to the gate driving circuits simultaneously with the first gate control signal. The signal line receives the first and second gate control signals to transmit the signals to the M gate driving circuits.
