The invention concerns a subscription data communication system comprising a telecommunication network operator (1) service centre (10), a plurality of data servers (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) adapted each to provide to said service centre (10) data concerning at least a given type of service; a communication apparatus (30) available to a user and designed to receive data coming from said data servers (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) via the operator service centre (10). The invention is characterised in that the user being holder of a subscription with at least a service of said data server, the operator service centre (10) comprises means for downloading into the communication apparatus (30), in conformity with the user's subscription, data supplied to the service centre (10) by said data server, and said communication apparatus (30) comprises means for storing and means for restoring (31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37) said data. The invention is useful for communicating data of local interest. |
