<p>The invention concerns a method for verifying confidential data integrity in electronic device data processing. The method consists in simultaneously calculating a value of the total control while the confidential data are being processed. The confidential data are divided into a set of octets and are processed and verified octet by octet. An example of the applications of the method comprises transferring data from an EEPROM of a smart card to its RAM and the validation of a secret code in said card.</p> |
