<p>The present invention provides for a system (100) and method for delivering dynamic content to a client (102) coupled to a network (110), wherein the client (102) sends a request for the dynamic content to an origin site (104). The origin site (104) is coupled to the network (110) and also has access to a database (130). According to the present invention, a plurality of caches (108) are coupled to the network (110), wherein each cache (108) includes replicated data (120) from the database (130) and application logic (122) to generate the dynamic content using the replicated data (120). A router (132) redirects the client (102) from the origin site (104) to a cache (108) selected from the plurality of caches (108), wherein the selected cache (108) provides the dynamic content to the client (102).</p> |
