The method involves acquiring biosignals with a mobile telephone or similar and transmitting to a workstation of a central point for evaluation. An emergency call function can be established via the mobile telephone to set up a voice transmission between the user and the central point. A data transmission of user-specific data automatically takes place to the central point when the emergency call function is established for voice transmission. The method involves acquiring biosignals with a mobile telephone (6) or similar and transmitting to a workstation (3-5) of a central point (2) with a number of workstations for evaluation. An emergency call function can be established via the mobile telephone to set up a voice transmission between the user and the central point.
