The invention relates to a method with which information components having the same priority are transmitted in several packets and are logically XOR-linked byte by byte. The information so produced is then transmitted in an additional packet. The inventive method makes it possible to provide data having a higher priority with redundant information, thereby increasing the probability of data components with a higher priority being reconstructed.
