Chucks.-A self aligning device for holding a reamer D or other tool comprises a shank A and socket C and an intermediate member B which is slidable in transversely disposed slots at the ends of the shank and socket to constitute a driving connection between these parts. The member B makes rolling contact with the shank and socket. A sleeve E with inturned flanges e is retained by split rings F, F' seating in grooves a, c and serves to limit the relative movement of the parts A and C. |
