The identification of a communication terminal, in particular a mobile telephone, by means of acoustic and/or optical features is improved, whereby such a device is provided with a user-configurable memory in which a file may be stored by the user which may be called and executed by means of control commands from a control unit such as a microprocessor. The file is embodied such that on execution a user identification of the communication terminal is achieved by acoustic and/or optical identifying features.
