A coating with at least one layer of paint for metallic substrates has at least one layer containing hollow micro-particles (I), some filled with corrosion inhibitors and others filled with isocyanates and/or radiation-cured and/or oxygen-reactive polymers (i.e. hardenable substances). An Independent claim is also included for paint for the production of such coatings, containing (I) (especially in dispersed form) in addition to conventional ingredients.
