<p>Methods for creating a scalable, fault tolerant computing platform on a network, the platform comprising a plurality of nodes (1.2, 1.3, 1.4) are disclosed. The method comprises initiating melding during initialization, wherein during the melding the plurality of nodes (1.2, 1.3, 1.4) are treated as a collection and each node (1.2, 1.3, 1.4) from the plurality of nodes joins the collection, and during melding at least a first object router is assigned; migrating objects between the plurality of nodes; and replicating objects across the plurality of nodes (1.2, 1.3, 1.4). Systems similar to the disclosed methods are also disclosed. Computer program products implementing the methods are also disclosed.</p> |
