Post-treatment agents for hair comprise (in parts wt.): (A) a quart. imidazoline compound (I) (0.5-10), together with at least one of the following components: (B) fatty alcohol glycol partial ethers of polyhydric hydroxycarboxylic acids (0.5-10); (C) fatty alcohols or their alkoxylates (0.5-10%); (D) fatty acid amidopropyl-dimethylamines (0.5-8%); (E) aids or auxiliaries; and (F) water. Post-treatment agents for hair comprise (parts by wt.): (A) a quart. imidazoline compound of formula (I) (0.5-10 parts), together with at least one of the following components: (B) fatty alcohol glycol partial ethers of polyhydric hydroxycarboxylic acids (0.5-10 parts); (C) fatty alcohols or their alkoxylates such as propoxylates (0.5-10%); (D) fatty acid amidopropyl-dimethylamines (0.5-8%); (E) aids or auxiliaries; and (F) water (balance).
