The invention concerns a disc brake comprising a piston and a parking brake mechanism consisting of an input shaft driven in rotation when the parking brake is actuated, a ball ramp mechanism, including a first groove (15) borne by the input shaft, a second groove, opposite the first groove, borne by a member (13) designed to thrust the piston towards the disc and the balls (14) enclosed between said grooves, each groove including an exhaust zone (16) with exclusively concave profile whereon, when the input shaft rotates relative to said member, the ball rolls and, first, takes up clearances of the mechanism, and then afterwards, axially moves said member (13) towards the piston. The invention also concerns a parking brake comprising such a cylinder.
