The present invention relates to a desk type telephone instrument (100) having an earphone type handset (200) connecting with the telephone instrument instead of the conventional handset. The receiving part (210) of the earphone type handset (200) is putted in the user's ear enabling the user to have both hands free during a telephone conversation. Further a push button (300) is placed in the installation part (130) above the hook-switch (120) to enable manual actuation of the hook-switch (120) by pressing the push button (300). The push button (300) is composed of a case part (310) which is fixed with a double sided adhesive tape or a bond to the installation part (130). Alternatively the push button (300) can provide a flange part (302) at the lower part of the case part (310) to be fixed to the installation part (130) using screws (303). |
