LIGHT WAVEGUIDE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

The manufacture of a laminated light waveguide presently faces the problem that an extra adhesive layer interposes with waveguide modes, and that the adhesive layer is difficult to remove. A first substrate (11) with a light waveguide groove and a second substrate (13) are provided. The second substrate (13) is bonded on a face with the light waveguide groove of the first substrate (11) with a material (12) having a refractive index higher than that of the first substrate (11) and the second substrate (13). The light waveguide groove is filled with the material (12), and the refractive index of the first substrate (11) is different from that of the second substrate (13).
