<p>Water-containing hot-melt type adhesive preparations which contain 4-biphenylylacetic acid (BPAA) in a stable state, show good drug release properties from the adhesive, and have a high bioavailability. Namely, analgesic and anti-inflammatory patches for external use containing BPAA characterized by being prepared by blending BPAA as the principal agent with a water-containing hot-melt type adhesive plaster base which comprises a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, a tackifier resin, an antioxidant, lanolin and water as the essential components.</p> |
