The drive disc (1) equipped with connecting devices on the engine and gearbox side is connected to a gear ring (3) by spoke type sections. The drive disc is damped at least over areas by means of a support (5), whereby the support is constructed with hollow protrusions (7) penetrating the disc through openings (6,9) or cut-outs (4) and which in hollow rivet fashion are formed over to bear upon the drive disc for fastening of the support. An independent claim is included for a procedure for the installing of the damping support on the drive disc.
