A heating device (2) adapts to a head's contours. A holding device (1) with a flexible restraining band fixes the heating device on the head so that it can lie flat for the most part. A temperature regulator (3) connects to a voltage supply and adjusts the heating device to an almost constant temperature between 38 deg C and 42 deg C. The holding device has a joining point (4) to connect the resistance layer of the heating device to the temperature regulator.
