<p>A projector system (9) has an image display (50) with at least two image display portions (61) each displaying a respective image (63). At least two projection assemblies (57-55-23) are provided, each associated with a respective image display portion (61). These projection assemblies each receive a respective image (63) from the respective image display portion (61) and project this image onto the projection screen (5). The projection assemblies each include a system for independently and selectively locating the projected image on the screen (5). The projection assembly includes a stationary mirror (55) supported adjacent the image display portion (61) receiving the image (63) therefrom and reflecting said image (63) outwardly from the image display (50) to the movable mirror (31). Preferably, the stationary mirror (55) has an upper end portion (67) and a lower edge portion (65). The lower edge portion (65) is adjacent the image display portion (61) and the mirror extends obliquely upwardly therefrom. Most preferably, the stationary mirror (55) flares outwardly from the lower edge portion (65), and the stationary mirrors are grouped together over the image display (50), with the lower edge portions (65) of adjacent stationary mirrors (55) being supported generally perpendicular to each other.</p> |
