PURPOSE: A spanner is provided to easily fasten or release a nut by applying a little force and to prevent an edge of the nut from being broken when fastening or releasing the nut. CONSTITUTION: A fixing tooth(2) is formed in a body(1). A screw bar(3) is installed between the body(1) and the fixing tooth(2). A moving tooth(4) is perforated in the screw bar(3). The moving tooth(4) moves forwards and backwards by the rotational movement of a moving member(5) installed in the screw bar(3) so as to grip a nut(100). The fixing tooth(2) and the moving tooth(4) have an angle of 60 degrees with respect to the screw bar(3). A contact surface(30) is formed at one side of the screw bar(3). A length of the moving tooth(4) is longer than a length of the fixing tooth(2). A fixing nut(50) making contact with a rear side of the moving tooth(4) is formed in the screw bar(3).
