METHOD FOR ARRANGING HEAT PIPE WITH IDENTICAL SHAPE USING LINE CONTACT

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for arranging heat pipe with identical shape using line contact is provided to form uniform distribution of temperature by efficiently dispersing concentrated heat load. CONSTITUTION: Heat pipes(10) contacts with each other on lines to form regular polygons such as hexagons and quadrangles to exchange heat. The heat pipes layered upon another to contact with each other on lines. The heat pipes are manufactured by same process as the shape thereof is identical. The weight of needed heat pipes is reduced in comparison with usual method when the heat pipes are to be densely used so as to be applied to a communication satellite.
