PURPOSE: A device for manipulating transmission for a manual transmission of a vehicle is provided to directly transmit the transmission manipulation of a driver to a shift cable and a select cable via a select plate and a universal joint, thereby enabling the manipulation of the shift lever by a relatively slight manipulation force. CONSTITUTION: A device for manipulating transmission for a manual transmission of a vehicle includes a main bracket(1) fixed to a vehicle body, a shift rack(3) vertically fixed to the main bracket, a shift lever(5) connected to an upper end of the shift rack via a joint element such as a universal joint(13) which rotates in every direction, a displacement generating element such as a select plate(11) mounted to the shift lever for generating a displacement in a distance from the main bracket when the shift lever rotates in every direction, a select cable(7) and a shift cable(9) of which wires are connected to the displacement generating element, and a fixing element for fixing and supporting outer skins of the select cable and the shift cable.
