PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a mass damper is provided to obtain cost reduction, and improved efficiency and productivity by manufacturing mass damper for an auto transmission using cold forging instead of using numerical control cutting. CONSTITUTION: A cold forging process is implemented so that the separate first, second and third bodies(1,2,3) are formed with the cable pathways A, B and C(11,21,31) and the coupling holes A and B(12,23) and the coupling protrusions A and B(22,32), and a fixing protrusion(13) with a cable fixing hole(13A) is integrally formed to the first body. A coating layer(4) is formed on both inside and outside of the first body. The first, second and third bodies are coupled together in such a manner that the coupling protrusion A of the second body is forced into the coupling hole A of the first body, and the protrusion B of the third body into the coupling hole B of the second body. An injection molding is carried out to both inside and outside of the second and third bodies to form a resin coating(5).
