PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing activated water which improves growth and germination of radish, guinea pepper, bean sprouts, and so on and can be used as a growth stimulator and a growth modulating agent, and can be used for water culture, by using a far-infrared radiating material. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (i) aging a mixture comprising diatomaceous earth, bio-stone and silica stone in powder state, and heat treating the aged mixture powder; (ii) adding loess to the heat treated powder, homogenizing the mixture, secondarily heat treating the mixture, and cooling the mixture to obtain a far-infrared radiating material; and (iii) adding the far-infrared radiating material to water with stirring to obtain activated water, adding inorganic ion to the activated water, and introducing the mixture into high pressure unit to high-pressure treat the mixture at temperature of 120-180deg.C and pressure of 1-9 atmosphere.
