PURPOSE: A video information search method is provided to search the video data more close to a desired object by selecting accurate object because the object selection inclination of a searcher is continuously accumulated in a database. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of transferring a left upper and a right lower characteristic vector including the searching object in order to reduce the data size transferred to a search engine from the searcher(S120), searching the object similar to a characteristic value of the selection area in a database of the search engine(S200), and transferring the searched similar object to the searcher(S210). In case of not satisfying to the searched similar object, the selection area is selected again and the reselected area is transferred to the search engine in order to feed back to the first step.
