A non-contact type IC card (100) includes a plurality of coil sheets (11,12, ..., 1n). On a surface of each of coil sheets (11, 12, ..., 1n), an electrically conductive layer (L1, L2, ..., Ln) having a coil-like pattern is formed. An antenna coil (L) is formed by placing the plurality of coil sheets one on another. In a method of manufacturing the IC card (100), tape-like coil sheets (110, 120, 130, ...) with the plurality of electrically conductive layers (L1) having coil-like patterns formed at a certain interval in a longitudinal direction and a plurality of feed holes (110b) formed at a certain interval in the longitudinal direction are employed.
