PURPOSE: To obtain a matrix value from an actual sample migration without using a special reagent kit. CONSTITUTION: Peaks are extracted in a fixed range of a migration waveform where signals start to be outputted, and peaks at uneven intervals are eliminated. Peak groups are classified by a signal strength. A ratio of signal strengths of classified four groups is obtained. Corresponding bases are assigned to the classified four groups. The matrix value is obtained from the signal strength ratio of peak waveforms of base groups. A sequence of bases is determined with the use of the matrix value.
