A display monitor support system comprising a vertical post (3) on which an arm (2) is pivotally mounted. The vertical position of the arm (2) relative to the post (3) can be adjusted by fitting an O-ring into one of several annular recesses (12) provided along the length of the post (3), the arm resting on the O-ring and being supported thereby. The arm (2) is preferably in two sections (2A,2B) pivotally connected by pin (6).
