PURPOSE: To provide a cathode-ray tube device with an electron gun structure by which good picture characteristics over whole area of a fluorescent screen can be obtained. CONSTITUTION: A main electron lens section of this electron gun structure 7 comprises, the fifth grid G5 to which a focusing voltage is applied, the sixth grid G6 to which a dynamic focusing voltage is applied, the first middle electrode GM1, the second middle electrode GM2, the seventh electrode G7, and so on. The main electron lens section has a common electrostatic lens L1 which acts on plural electron beams in a main lens focusing region which consists of the fifth grid G5, the sixth grid G6 and the first middle electrode GM1, and has plural electrostatic lenses L2 which acts on each electron beam respectively in a main lens diverging region which consists of the second middle electrode GM2 and the seventh electrode G7.
