PURPOSE: A pole for supporting a tent is provided to reduce the weight of a tent and to strengthen the tent. CONSTITUTION: The pole(100) for supporting a tent contains a resin layer(3) including glass fiber and carbon fiber, wherein the resin layer(3) contains a glass fiber retaining layer(15) provided with bundles of glass fiber stuck along the pile and a carbon fiber retaining layer(25) located between the outer circumference of the glass fiber retaining layer(15) and the outer circumference of the resin layer(3) and provided with bundles of carbon fiber.
