PURPOSE: A heat/air flow analysis and heat tracking apparatus is provided to obtain effective analysis data for improving cooling and ventilating performance through efficient visualization of heat/air flow and improving fuel efficiency through the reduction of air resistance. CONSTITUTION: A test automobile includes an engine(1), a transmission(2), a battery(3), an engine room(4) where a plurality of parts are mounted, and a hood(5) mounted to the engine room. The hood is made of a transparent material, and has a tuft(6) arranged underneath the hood so as to analyze air flow and heat in the engine room, and a heat tracking device(7) spaced apart from the tuft. The tuft has a fixed end, and is made of a material having a high resistance against heat. Thus, air flow in the engine room is effectively analyzed by the movement and direction of the tuft.
