PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a stern pipe bushing using a resin material in a replaceable form. SOLUTION: Joining regions X1 and X2 are defined in a part of the cylindrical body part 11 of the stern pipe bushing 10, and thereto a masking tape is affixed. Upon applying grease to the whole outer surface of the body part 11, the masking tape is exfoliated, and the resultant is inserted to a stern boss part 20. Alignment is made by adjusting jack bolts B1 and B2, and upon sealing with seal material 33-36, resin is injected from a resin injection hole H2, followed by hardening so that a hardened resin layer 40 is formed. The layer 40 and stern boss part 20 are adhered together over their whole surfaces while the layer 40 and bushing 10 are adhered together only in the joining regions X1 and X2 owing to existence of a grease layer, so that at the time of replacement, it is possible to draw off the bushing 10 by applying an external force.
