PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover metals contained in a liquid crystal panel and to recover a substrate base stock at the same time. SOLUTION: In the treating method for recycling used liquid crystal panel as resources, only a sealant 12 part used for adhering the liquid crystal panel 10 is locally heated from a substrate surface to deteriorate adhesive force. After a color filter substrate 11 and a TFT substrate 13 are separated thereby, the metals contained in films 14a, 14b laminated on substrate surfaces are recovered and the substrate base stock is recovered at the same time.
