PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating/recovering an unreacted alkane- based vapor phase component, secured in higher selectivity and catalyst-afforded productivity than conventional method in alkane ammoxidation, needing no operation of e.g. replacing an adsorbent when stained or deteriorated, capable of avoiding the problem of falling within a combustibles explosion range in desorption, slight in bringing unnecessary components including water, organic solvent and small amounts of reaction byproducts into the reactor, capable of diminishing unreacted alkane loss in a purging operation or the like, and advantageous in industrial run with low energy consumption. SOLUTION: This method for separating/recovering an unreacted hydrocarbon comprises the following steps: the remaining gas flow after recovering the objective product is contacted with an organic solvent to absorb an unreacted alkane-based vapor phase component thereinto, and the resulting organic solvent is stripped by the use of a nitrogen-based gas <=10 vol.% in oxygen content and the resultant effluent gas is cooled and partially condensed. |
