PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved post-processing device capable of stapling a paper bundle with good alignment. SOLUTION: This post-processing device is provided with a pair of both end support members 32 supporting the both ends of the tip of the paper bundle, when a central support member is in a stapling position. The both end support members 32 are linked with the displacement of lower guides 27 via an operation lever 34. The pair of lower guides 27 are mutually widened so that the both end support members 32 are displaced to the support position. The pair of lower guides 27 are mutually narrowed so that the both end support members 32 are displace to the retreating position. The central support member and the pair of both end support members 32 can thus support the tip of the paper bundle before stapling. The tip of the paper bundle can be supported in a wide range without any anxiety.
