PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a methacrylic resin casting free from bubbles and voids. SOLUTION: When a methacrylic monomer is cast in a casting device and polymerized to produce the methacrylic resin casting of 25-100 mm thickness, by adjusting the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the monomer to be 6.4 mg/L or below, the generation of bubbles and voids in the obtained casting is prevented.
