PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner capable of quickly removing all the dust including even fine particles that conventional vacuum cleaners have failed to catch, leading to the higher efficiency in cleaning. SOLUTION: This electric vacuum cleaner makes use of both exhaust and suction forces in cleaning. That is, it sucks up all the dust readily after blowing it off under air pressure. In addition, it alternately and quickly changes their suck-up and blow-out operations by a changeover switch.
