PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink accepting layer forming urethane urea resin-based covering agent, in which coating liquid characteristics, printability and coating film characteristics are well balanced with one another, and a recording material, the fixture of a water-based ink is favorable. SOLUTION: The ink accepting layer forming covering agent includes a Michael addition type urethane urea resin, which is obtained by reacting an amine compound (B) having at least two primary or secondary amino group obtained through the Michael addition reaction between a polyamine (c) and an unsaturated compound (d) with a urethane prepolymer (A) having an isocyanate group at its terminal obtained by reacting a polyol (a) with a polyisocyanate (b). Further, the recording material has an accepting layer made of the covering agent on a base material. |
