PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material treating device which dispenses with a heat exchanger having a dual pipe structure and can attain cost reduction and miniaturization of the device due to reduction of parts number and further which can improve heat efficiency by effectively utilizing heat exhausted wastefully after heating a treating tank. SOLUTION: This organic material treating device is provided with the treating tank 11 of the dual bottom structure which treats charged organic material such as garbage, a deodorizing mechanism 40 which heats and deodorizes exhaust gas from the treating tank 11 by using a heating means and a catalyst, an air passage which discharges the exhaust gas heated and deodorized by the deodorizing mechanism 40 outside through a dual bottom part 11d of the treating tank 11, and a heat exchanging mechanism for performing heat exchange between the exhaust gas which is sent from the treating tank 11 to the deodorizing mechanism 40 and the exhaust gas which is heated and deodorized by the deodorizing mechanism and is sent to the dual bottom part 11d of the treating tank 11. |
