PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from obliquely parking with respect to a storing elevator. SOLUTION: There is provided an apparatus for automatically correcting oblique parking of the vehicle 1, which detects side surfaces of front and rear wheels 1a and 1b of the vehicle 1 by means of projectors 31 and 32 and photo receivers 33 and 34, to thereby detect tread width centers of the front and rear wheels 1a and 1b. When the tread width center of each of the front and rear wheels 1a and 1b is matched with the center of the storing elevator 3, first and second fork conveyors 14A and 14B are stopped.
