PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet and infrared absorption green glass which has high visible light transmissiveness, low ultraviolet and infrared transmissiveness and total solar energy transmissiveness lower than a conventional green glass and which is a green color based glass that has almost the same color taste before strengthening and is especially suitable for a window pane of a car. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet and infrared absorption green glass contains as a coloring component the whole iron oxide of 0.5 wt.% < but <=1.1 wt.% in terms of Fe2O3, CeO2 of 0-2.0 wt.%, TiO2 of 0-1.0 wt.%, NiO of 0.0005-0.01 wt.%, and CoO of 0.0001-0.001 wt.% and has visible light transmissiveness of 70% <= and total solar energy transmissiveness of <=60%, and ultraviolet transmissiveness of <=25% regulated in ISO9050, in the glass having thickness of 4 mm.
