PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel multi block copolymer utilizing an oligoolefin which has an end with a vinylidene double bond and is obtained by highly controlled thermal decomposition of polyolefin. SOLUTION: The multi block copolymer has as a repeating unit a compound represented by the general formula (1): [wherein, R represents 1-3 alkyl or phenyl groups; m represents an integer of 1-10; n represents a positive integer of 1-100; p represents a positive integer of 1-100].
