摘要 PURPOSE:To mount an optical element easily at high precision and provide an optical element module with high reliability at low cost by composing a pipe to be a standard for the distance in the optical axis direction from an optical element including a lens to the end face of an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A head 4 in which a laser element array 3a consisting of a plurality of semiconductor laser elements as optical elements at regular gaps is formed is mounted on an element mount 5 set in the inside of a case 1, which is like a box. An opened pipe 2a is attached to the case by soldering in order to send the light emitted from the laser element array 3a to the outside and a flat microlens 6a is fixed in the inside of the pipe 2a and the end face of a direct optical fiber 7 is connected with the pipe 2a. In this way, any error in the installation position produced during the mounting process of each part is suppressed to the minimum level by utilizing the pipe 2a as a standard of positioning adjustment of the optical system of the optical element module.
