PURPOSE:To reduce the price of a recording capable optical disk device by introducing an optical head which uses diffused optical system. CONSTITUTION:The disk device utilizes an optical head with a diffused optical system which makes diffused light incident on an objective lens 4. By enclosing the optical disk, which stores information, into a case so as to make the gap between the disk and the case to be 0.1 to 0.25mm top and bottom then, the wobbly surface of the optical disk becomes + or -0.1 to + or -0.25mm. An increase in aberration caused by focusing and a decrease in light effective utilization rate are suppressed and an optical disk device with an optical head which uses a large light effective utilization rate diffused optical system is realized. |
