PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adopt an oriented clay particle exfoliating at least a part as reinforcement blended in a rubber composition for a tire. SOLUTION: The rubber/cord laminate, side wall and apex rubber composition contains the particular reinforcement of 30-100 phr distributed in an elastomer selected from the elastomer of 100 phr (A), intercalated smectite clay particulates (B), carbon black, synthetic amorphous silica and silica processed carbon black, and at least a kind of an auxiliary reinforcing filler consisting of (1) interlayered thin substantially two-dimensional smectite particulates inserted from 1 phr to 100 phr, namely, clay making at least partial thin flat substantially two-dimensional exfoliated platelets, and (2) carbon black of 20-99 phr, synthetic amorphous silica and silica processed carbon black. |
