PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a germicide composition providing a highly antimicrobial effect by a simple treatment, having controlled metal corrosiveness. SOLUTION: This germicide composition comprises one or more kinds selected from hypochlorous acid and an alkali metal hypochlorite (A), one or more kinds selected from a polyhydric alcohol derivative type surfactant, a cationic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant (B), one or more kinds selected from an organic acid and its salt (C) and a corrosion inhibitor (D).
