PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gondola for wall surface work that has splash preventing means on both sides and bottom of opening edges of the gondola and more completely prevents leakage of splashing water out of the gondola. SOLUTION: The gondola for wall surface work, which is supported in a suspended position by a lifting and lowering device installed on the roof of a building and is vertically moved along a wall surface, has a boxlike casing 2 having a space enough for a human to work in and opening on a wall surface W, and flocked bands 40 and 50 with many flocks 41 and 51 on both side edges 20 and/or a bottom edge 21 of the open side of the casing, in which each flock is formed to a smaller thickness dimension and flocked more densely with proximity to the outside of the casing. Rolling means 6 are provided on both sides along the side edges of the casing, and a water collecting means 23 and a draining means 24 are provided on the bottom. The flocked bands on the side edges are mounted via detachable and pivotable side plates 4, and the flocked band on the bottom edge is mounted via a detachable and pivotable recovery plate 5.
