PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket with excellent slidability and a syringe equipped with such a gasket. SOLUTION: This syringe comprises an outer cylinder 2, the gasket 3 slidable within the outer cylinder 2, and a plunger 4 for moving the gasket 3. The gasket 3 is formed of a member having a substantially cylindrical outer shape, and a skirt part 31 is formed on the tip-side outside part thereof. The skirt part 31 is the part to make contact with the inner surface 26 of the outer cylinder 2, and its outer diameter is gradually reduced toward the tip. Namely, the circumferential surface 311 of the skirt part 31 is tapered. A U-shaped sectional ring-like recessed part 32 is formed on the inside part of the skirt part 31. A ring-like protruding part is formed on the base end-side outside part of the gasket 3 as a contact part 33 having a deformation resistance larger than the skirt part 31. |
